He was predeceased by: his parents, James Reed and Garnet Postlewait Reed; his granddaughter Jessica Brookover; and his siblings, Dorothy Doyle, Douglas Reed and Dennis Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Reed, Maya Brookover (William), Amanda Fuller and Shelby Cartwright; his grandson Christopher Brookover (Alicia Wilson); and his great grandchildren, Jaden and Jase Brookover.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home (521 Fifth St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
