He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Omar Smoot and Virginia Tincher Smoot. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Carol Williams Smoot; his sons, Ralph T. Smoot, Jr. (Donna) and William R. Smoot (Becky) of Orwigsburg, PA; his siblings, James Paul Smoot (Patte) of Virginia, Mary Rachel Smoot Richards of Maryland and Alice Shannon of Wilmington, DE.; his grandchildren, Ashley Lea (Wallace), Alyssa Smoot of West Lawn, PA, Justin Smoot (Tara) of Palmyra, PA, Shannon Smoot of Columbus, Josh Evans (Keren) of Bethel Park, PA, Zachary Evans of Oak Hill, WV, Alyssa Culicerto (Pete) of Charleston, WV, Tyler Gallagher (Brenna) of Lehigh Valley, PA. and Connor Gallagher of Quakertown, PA.; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Garner, Thea Smoot, Wallace, Charlie Lea, Barrett, Mac Culicerto, Ari and Tali Evans.
