She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Adolphus J. Wacaster and Helen V. Wacaster (Cummings); and her siblings, Julia Ilene (Rittmayer), Jordan Michael, George Edward and Arthur Joel Wacaster.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Shafer; her daughter Dianne Miele (Robert); her grandsons, Justin and Tristen Miele; her sister-in-law Jean Jones Wacaster; her stepsons, Brian Shafer (Yvonne) and Russ Shafer (Beth); and her stepgrandchildren, Brian Jr., Abbie, Rylee and Reagan. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
