He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion and Opal Pittsenbarger Long; his daughters, Lynn Higgins and April Long; and his siblings, Arlege Ray Long, Belza May Long, Thomas Jacob Long, Rose Mary Long, Belvia Evalie Long, Dortha Christina Long, Naomi Ruth Long, Robert Lee Long and Varge Long.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ann Watson Long; his children, Renae Long of Charlottesville, VA and Mark Long (Leslie) of Cincinnati, OH; his son-in-law Tim Higgins of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Korrynn, Roland, Jessie and Bonnie; his great grandchild Autumn; and his sister Emily Kaye Long.
