He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond F. Lee, Sr. and Mary Lee (Toler). He is survived by: his wife Rodnell Lee (Weese); his children, Patrick Shockey of Cabins, WV, Christian Shockey of Fairmont, WV and Kirsten Shockey of Petersburg, WV; his stepchildren, Timothy Shockey, Jr. of Maysville, WV and Cassie Shockey of Maysville, WV; and his siblings, David Lee of Kingwood, WV, Richard Lee of Charleston, WV and Regina Louys of Franklin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
