He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Moyers and Judith Moyers (Mullenax); and his siblings, Sally Moyers, Rosalie Moyers, Ada Virginia Moyers Simpson, Glen Moyers, Melvin Eugene "Boss" Moyers and Bobby Lee Moyers.
He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Moyers (Kindt); his sons, Jerry L. Moyers (Kathy) of North Canton, Charles E. Moyers, Jr. (Newark) and Bailey; and his sister Dorothy Marie Moyers Nelson. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren.
