He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Keeney; his parents, Lester Roy and Mary Francis Clere Keeney; and his siblings, Susie Keeney, Tom and Henry Keeney.
He is survived by: his children, Robert L. Keeney Jr. of Belle, Cindy of Chelyan and Mindy Keeney of Chelyan; and his siblings, Ray Keeney of West Virginia, Kay Darby of North Carolina and Phyllis Burnside of Chelyan.
