Brooksan Kay Huffman Obituary
Brooksan Kay Huffman, 36 of Cabin Creek, unexpectedly went to join her Grandmother Edna Mcafee in Heaven on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Brooksan was born in Charleston, WV to Roxanna Huffman and Tim Huffman on March 17th, 1987. She was always so full of life and loved being with family and friends. When she was younger, she enjoyed cheerleading, taking glamour shots with her mother and grandmother and loved being the center of attention. She attended and graduated from Riverside High School. At an early age, she dealt with and overcame a lot of different struggles and obstacles.
Becoming a mother was one of her proudest moments and was always so proud of her children. She is survived by her children; Brooklynn Huffman, Skylar Dodrill, Brista Workman, Brayden Huffman and Jayden Huffman; parents; mother, Roxanna Huffman (step-father Jerry Mitchell), father, Tim Huffman (step-mother Andrea Huffman); siblings; Timothy Huffman ll (Sonya Huffman), JJ Mitchell, step-sister Shellena Ferrell, and step-brother Ronnie Drulls; uncle; Bobby Jeffrey; and grandmother; Myrtle Boyce;. She is also survived by many cousins, uncles, and aunts.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday March 1, 2024 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
