He was predeceased by: his children, Keith Michael Hughes and Pamela Jean Gregory; and his brother James Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Hughes (Bragg); his sons, Jody Mead Hughes (Cheryl) of Belington, WV, David Lee Hughes (Deborah) and Jeremy Scott Hughes of Burnsville, WV; and his sister Dolly Jean Rose (Bud) of Fruit Port, MI.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
