He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harry and Tressie Pearl Russell Jones; his wife Shirley Ann Love Jones; his siblings, Benny Lee Jones and Mary Jane Jones; and his son-in-law Jacky Persinger.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Persinger of Linn, W. Va, Mary Jones of Burnsville, William Howard Jones of Burnsville and Charles Jones (Arlene) of New Martinsville; and his siblings, George Jones (Connie) of Ellenton, Fla., William H. Jones of Nebo, W. Va and Wilma M. Workman (Larry) of Fairfield, Texas.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
