He is survived by: his mother Mary Lee McPherson of Burnsville; and his siblings, Brad McPherson (Tina) of Morgantown and Sherrie McPherson of Weston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

“Jerry "Mac" was my roommate at Concord College in the late '70's. We had great times. TKE fraternity initiation. Parties....can't talk about the details....haha. Great memories traveling to Clearwater, FL on spring break. He was a groomsman in my wedding. All my memories of Jerry are happy ones! I know he will be missed by all that were close to him.”
