It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlena Sue Riffle of Burnsville, West Virginia, born in West Union, West Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Darrell E. McIntyre and Margaret Amelia Broadwater McIntyre; her husband Herbert Cline Riffle; her sister Patricia Gaskins; her son-in-law Mike Peters; her nephew Joey Sears; her brothers-in-law, Steve Saluk, Homer Brown and Joe Sears; her children, James Gaskins Jr. (Peggy) of Hampton, VA and Tonya Peters (Jock Hinzman) of Burnsville, WV; her grandchildren, Chad Farr (Dyan), James Gaskins III, Allyson Lewis (Brady), Jordyn Peters and Dalton Peters (Torie); her sisters, Sara Brown of Sugar Creek, OH, Charlotte Sears of Charleston, WV and Marcia Saluk of Parkersburg, WV; and her close friends, Paisley and Oakley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Darlena's honor to the Burnsville Fire Department.
