It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicky Roy (Burlington, West Virginia), born in Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frederick Dolly and Mary Louise Dolly (Twigg). She is survived by: her husband Wayne Allen Roy; her children, Jessica Roy, Justin Roy, Tracy, Joni Roy and Danny; her grandchildren, Jakadi Day, Jaclyn Day, Derick Roy, Joseph Roy, Alexis "Broadway" Roy, Maycee "Stinky" Pratt and Camron Pratt; and her siblings, Ronnie Dolly of Burlington, WV, Mary Ann Green (Alex), Norma Kay Goin (Michael "Goose") of Fort Ashby, WV, Anita Whetzel (Kenneth) of Burlington and Shelia Litten (Chris) of Burlington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (2266 Northwestern Turnpike, Burlington, WV 26710). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
