He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Willis Dantzic and Luetta Dantzic Emmart (Rotruck); his stepfathers, Harry Emmart and Preston R. Miller; his wife Tara Jean Dantzic (Pfeiffer); his son Brent I. Dantzic; his granddaughter Bryn Marie Amoruso; his brother Stanley "Danny" Dantzic; and his sister-in-law Mary Dantzic.
He is survived by: his daughter Aubrey Amoruso of New Creek, WV; his grandchildren, Briana Rotruck (Bradly), Camden Amoruso, Emilyn Carr and Harper Dantzic; his son-in-law John Amoruso, Jr. of Keyser; his siblings, Shawn Dantzic of Burlington, Steven "Chip" Dantzic of Florida and Suzy Marsh of South Dakota; his stepsisters, Debbie Emmart of Virginia and Carla Emmart of North Carolina; and his close friends, Delmas and Sandy Kelly of Old Fields, WV..
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home ~ Keyser Chapel (85 S Main St, Keyser, WV 26726). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
