She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Henry "Toots" and Kathleen Althea Amtower (Roberts); her husband Orville Roy Shoemaker; and her brother Leon Amtower. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Wolford (Mark) of Augusta, WV, Jill Hott (Grover) of Shanks, WV and Joelle Larson (Clint) of Purgitsville, WV; her grandchildren, Matthew Wolford, Brittany Baker, Brooke Caldwell, Kaitlynn Gasparro (Jason), Kailee Simpson (Justin Baker) and Remington Agnew (Samantha Knowbel); her great grandchildren, Jake Baker, Layken, Austyn Caldwell and Kendell Gasparro; her sister Dixie Riggleman (Butch); and her sister-in-law Loretta Amtower of Burlington.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (2266 Northwestern Turnpike, Burlington, WV 26710). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
