He was predeceased by: his parents, James Aston and Edith Aston; his wife Linda Lee Kramer; and his siblings, Lois A. Lyon, James E. Aston and Donald E. Aston.
He is survived by: his children, Alicia Aston and Derek Charles Aston (Jill); his grandchildren, Christine Forbes (Michael) and Jeffrey Smith (Angela); his great grandchildren, Luna Forbes, Elena Forbes and Lily Smith; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Poulsen; and his nephew Christopher (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
