He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ashby Silvius and Mary Alice Downey Silvius; his son Kenneth Franklin Silvius, Jr.; his siblings, Charles Preston Silvius, Ashby Ray Silvius, Thomas Ashby Silvius, Jr. and Marie Alger; and his grandson Kenneth Wayde Silvius.

He is survived by: his wife Linda McDaniel Silvius; his children, Thomas Richard Silvius and Crystal Dawn Silvius; his grandchildren, Trenton, Trayton Silvius, Thomas Richard Silvius, II, Christopher Silvius, Michael Silvius and Jacob Silvius; and his sister Sharon Rose.
