He is survived by: his wife Linda Anderson Owens; his daughters, Vicki Sanders, Christina Knox and Faith Owens; his grandchildren, Daisy Mawhinney, David Creamer, Tiffany Knox, Izak Yates, Trenton Yates and Aleeda Yates; and his sister Hazel Smith. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
