He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Hamrick and Dora Cohenour Hamrick; his sons, Wayne Alan Hamrick and Duane Alan Hamrick; and his siblings, Earl Newton Hamrick and Phyllis Ann Vallejo-Montoya.

He is survived by: his wife Judith McDonald Hamrick; his daughter Sharlene D. Hamrick; his grandchildren, James, Kevin, Daniel, Victoria and Wesley; his siblings, Kyle Steve Hamrick (Carolyn) and Janet Louise Yates (Arnold); and his daughter-in-law Pamela Hamrick. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
