He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ralven and Catherine Boyd Mason; his son Douglas Richard Mason; and his siblings, Robert Mason and Helen Mason Cain.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald, Randall, Rodney and Roger Mason. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
