He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman R. Diffenderfer and Nellie Brandt Diffenderfer; and his brother N. Kenneth Diffenderfer. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn J. Bartles Diffenderfer; his children, Donna Klein (Rick), Chrystal Baker, Stephen Hedrick (Sharon), Timothy Hedrick and Penny Butler; his grandchildren, Matthew Klein, Kathryn Klein, Jeff Baker, Dawn Baker of Jonathan Hedrick, T. J, Fred Butler, III and Kellyn Abshire; and his brother Thomas H. Diffenderfer. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
