She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar L. Hays and Gratta C. Markle Hays; her husband Robert A. Sencindiver; her siblings, Ethel H. Cross, Helen H. Wilkins and Earl Conrad Hays; and her grandson Larry W. Canby, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Alan K. Sencindiver (Kimberly) and Peggy L. Canby (Larry) of Martinsburg; and her grandsons, Joshua (Fernanda), Benjamin (Hannah), Eric Sencindiver, Richard, Jeffrey (April), Martin and Cody Canby (Tiffani).
