He was predeceased by: his parents, John Booth and Beulah Booth; and his siblings, Carol Casto of Bancroft, Richard "Dicky" Booth of Bancroft and Ruth Arthur of Poca.
He is survived by: his wife Mona Faye; his sons, John F. (Lisa) of Buffalo and Matthew (Melissa) of Bancroft; his grandchildren, Tyler (Sarah) of Buffalo, Justin (Hannah) of Morgantown, Stephen (Megan) of Morgantown, Mariah of Hometown and Zachary of Bancroft; and his sister Betty Phillips of Bancroft.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made in John's name to Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd W. Charleston, WV 25387.
