He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Buck and Lena Mae Buck; his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Buck; and his son Chris Buck. He is survived by: his children, Chad Buck (Lee Ann) and Jessica Thompson (Eddie); his grandchildren, Emily, Tabetha Buck, Noah, Ian, Faith Thompson and Mackenzie Buck; his great grandchild Everly Buck; and his siblings, Connie Erwin (David) and Terry Buck (Carol).
