He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Mitchell and Irene F. Mitchell; his wife Sandra Kay "Sandi" Mitchell; and his siblings, Gary Mitchell and Shirley Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Nazarewycz (Eric) of Buffalo and Jimmy Mitchell (Nichole) of Red House; his brothers, Eddie Mitchell of Dunbar and Carroll Mitchell (Carrie) of Buffalo; and his grandchildren, Jake Smith, Emma Nazarewycz, Adison Mitchell, Jesse Nazarewycz and Austin Mitchell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
