With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman R. Higginbotham (Buffalo, West Virginia), born in Grimms Landing, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie and Mamie; his daughter Loretta Gail; and his siblings, Geraldine Adkins (Fred), Ilean White, Delbert (Donna) and Jim Higginbotham.
He is survived by: his wife V. Rosetta (Martin); his children, James T. Higginbotham, Virginia Sowards and Annette Rains (Bobby); his grandchildren, Travis Baisden (Carmen), Brittany Vizedom (Scot), Renae Higginbotham, Cecil Higginbotham (Sam), Kasey Anthony (Tyler) and Stephanie Sowards; his brother Boyd Higginbotham (Jo); and his siblings-in-law, Freda Higginbotham and Bernard L. White. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made either to the American Asthma Association or the American Cancer Association.
