She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Craig and Mary A. Oldaker Craig; her husband Leroy "Web" Absten; her daughter Melissa D. Blake; and her siblings, Charles, James, Howard, Cleon "Rusty", William "Page", Roy Craig, Erma Craig, Iona "Midge" Grady, Lula Belle Stover and Elnora Hill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ashworth (Terry) of Cottageville, WV and Kimberly Jividen (Dale) of Davisville, WV; her sister Berna Jo Higginbotham of Leon; her grandchildren, Joshua Jividen (Amanda) of Wilmington, Jamie Elswick of Mississippi, Brandi Somerville (Nathan) of Ravenswood, WV, Cierra Gladden (Jonah) of Ripley, WV, Hillary Poston (Sean) and Steven Ashworth (Sabrina) of Cottageville, WV; and her great grandchildren, Annalisa Echard, Laini Gladden, Isaiah Bankston, Taylin Poston, Natalee Somerville, River Gladden, Nora Somerville, Rilynn Gladden and James Elswick, Jr..
