He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scott Bennett and Ada Roberts Bennett; the mother of his children Betty Martin Bennett Rawlins; his grandparents, Wade, Sarah Bennett, David A. and Emily Diehl Roberts; and his nephew Dwight "David" Stone.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charlene Anderson (Jeff) of Polk City, FL and Janet Simpkins (Billy) of Pt; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Simpkins of Huntington, Johnathon Malone (Mikala) of Huntington, Gracie Smith, Lauren Smith of Cumming, GA and Jazmyne Malone of Polk City, FL; his great grandchild Oliver Malone; his sisters, Sarah Karr (Skip) of Evansville, IN and Jane Chattin (Gene) of Leon; and his close friends, Don Henderson, Troy Akers, Hess and Carl Boswell.
