He was predeceased by: his siblings, Billy Hammonds and Patricia Sykes. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hammonds; his children, Tommy Hammonds (Sheila) of Buffalo, Darrell Hammonds of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Lisa Welch (Jack) of Monterrey and Teresa Gunther (Jeff) of Deer Lodge, Tennessee; his sister Mary Brooks of Tennessee; his granddaughter Kayla; and his great grandchildren, Abagail, Emma and Caroline. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
