He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Stanley and Rosa Bishop Stanley; the mother of his children Betty Faye Stanley; his wife Betty Stowers; his sisters, Ramona Cordell and Rosalyn Whitt; his sister-in-law Debbie Stanley; and his granddaughters, Laura Rochelle Rine and Jennifer Ann Rine.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Stanley (Cindy) of Allyn, WA, Shirley Stanley of Beckley, Jane Falk (John) of Daniels and Barbara McElwain (William) of Lewisburg; his siblings, Johnathan Stanley (Mary) of Fellows, CA, Amon Stanley of Bud Mt, Leroy Stanley of New Richmond, Lewis Stanley of Beckley, Joyce Hylton of Bud Mt and Martha Rowe of Bud Mt; his grandchildren, David Lynn Burchett, Scott Burchett (April Wright), Jason Stanley (Leslie), Joey Stanley (Michelle), Katie Geissler (Jon), Nick Rine (Kara), Summer McElwain and Emily McElwain; and his great grandchildren, Rose Stewart, Cameron Brooke Rine, Ava Jo Rine, Ella, Sawyer, Teige, Brooklyn Stanley, Sam, Bowdie, Victor Burchett and Amethyst Wright. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
