He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Harold Bailey and Fanny Holly Bailey; his wives, Pauline A. Bailey and Jo Claire Bailey; his son Vernon W. Bailey Jr.; and his sister Janet McDaniels.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Raymond Bailey and Mary Ann Jones. He is also survived by three half-sisters; one half-brother; and several nieces and nephews.
