It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Eugene Bennett of Buckhannon, West Virginia, born in Troy, West Virginia, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Talbert Nelson Bennett and Louella "Maxine" Chapman Bennett. He is survived by: his brother Lowell Bennett of Buckhannon; his niece Sarah Harper (John) of Charles Town; his nephew Steven Bennett (Amanda) of Millwood; and his great-nieces, Zoe Harper, Kayleigh Bennett and Hallie Bennett.
