With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Twila Darlene Edgell of Buckhannon, West Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Twila Darlene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Twila Darlene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bender and Julia "Judy" Gillespie Bender. She is survived by: her daughter Bev Barnett (Josh) of Buckhannon; her grandchildren, Makena Barnett of Buckhannon and Avery Barnett of Buckhannon; and her sister Brenda "Beni" Bender (David Curry) of Buckhannon.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mountain Church of God (16 Thurman Ave, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Mountain Church of God in Twila's memory.
