She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Edward and Florence Pearl Newcome Cunningham; her husband Wayne Linger; her sons, Perry Wayne and Mark Alan Linger; her grandchildren, Christopher Gail Linger, Jared Ray Sears and Alleen Danielle Linger; and her siblings, Bradford, Edward Earl Cunningham and Etta Darleen Gillum.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Rose McCourt (Charlie) of Buckhannon, Connie Linger of Elkins, WV, Karen Sears of Indianapolis, IN and Kyle Ray Linger (Marilyn) of Buckhannon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
