He is survived by: his children, James Linger (Jackie) of Weston, Barry Linger of Texas, Randy Gifford of Buckhannon, Timothy Gifford (Marilyn) of Elkins, Russell Gifford (Kim) of Buckhannon, Tammy (Brad Seelback) of Buckhannon and Karen Myers of Buckhannon; his grandchildren, Alisa, Ginny, Marty, Brittni, Kaleb, Eli, Preston, Stephanie, Brooke, Dillon, Cody, Chad, Josh, Ricky and Danielle; and his great grandchildren, Cora, Caroline and Kadence.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sago Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
