Mary Madaline Myers Obituary
Mary Madaline (Tenney) Myers, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 3, 2024, in the Canterbury Center of Martinsburg WV. She had been in declining health.
She was born October 17, 1942, in Harrison County, a loving daughter to the late George and Juanita (Butcher) Tenney.
She was married to Paul Kenneth Myers.
She is survived by her brother Charles and his wife Yvonda Tenney of Buckhannon, WV; sister Virginia Claypool of French Creek, WV ; sons, Kenny Myers and his wife Lisa Myers of Buckhannon, WV, Shawn Myers of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren Shane Myers and his wife Dee-Dee Myers of Buckhannon, WV, Shayla Sponaugle and her husband James Sponaugle of Buckhannon, WV, Zachary Andrews and Lauren Andrews of Martinsburg, WV; great-grandchildren Dominic Workman, Kevin Layman, Sawyer Myers, and Kenna Myers. Special thanks to Chrystal Kittle for being a wonderful caregiver for Mary during the last few years.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, James Tenney.
She sold Avon for over thirty years, but her biggest dedication was to her family. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Family and friends may gather from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the Sand Run Baptist Church, 2272 Vegan Road, Buckhannon, WV., 26201., where a funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 pm with Pastor Greg Miller officiating and interment will follow in in the Sand Run Baptist Church Cemetery. The Kittle Family Funeral Home of Philippi, WV., is honored to be assisting the family with the arrangements.
