She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul V. Miles and Virginia L. Boram Miles; her husband Nicholas Caris of Ohio; and her close friend Donald McCoy. She is survived by: her son Mark A. Miles (Betsy Jo McGowan); her grandson Tyson Pugh of Buckhannon; her cousin Sue Miles Nichols of Virginia; and her close friend Mary Davis of Buckhannon.
