He was predeceased by: his father James Orval Smith; and his brother James Allen Smith. He is survived by: his mother Rena Coberly Smith of Buckhannon; and his sisters, Sharon Short (Bartley) of Buckhannon, Karen Belt (James) of Buckhannon, Debbie Smith (Rick Cutright) of Buckhannon and Darlene Hall (Scott) of Weston, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home (95 S Kanawha St, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
