He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert E. DeGarmo and Madalene Anita Nutter; and his siblings, Charles "Mike" DeGarmo, Karen Sue Boyles and Catherine Marie Simons.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim DeGarmo of Austin Texas, Ed DeGarmo (Carla) of Gassaway, Skip DeGarmo of Buckhannon, Barbara Alherimi (Naim) of Slidell Louisiana, Sharon DeGarmo of San Carlos and Sandy Williams (Ron) of Buckhannon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and even more great nieces and nephews.
