Though Gladys Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gladys Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Hampton and Macil May Carpenter Simmons; and her spouse Hartsel Gene Cool. She is survived by: her sons, Hartsel L. Cool of Buckhannon and Allen Gene Cool of Florida; and her grandchildren, Thomas Allen Cool, Krista Renee Cool and Eric Allen Cool. She is also survived by four sisters; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel (940 WV-20, Buckhannon, WV 26201).
