He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hershman and Lucille Nestor Hershman; and his spouse Shirley Smith. He is survived by: his son Gary Lee Hershman (Donna); his stepchildren, Tom Smith (Janet), Vicki Hammel (William), Diane Hatfield (Bill), Kay Snyder (Steve) and Beverly Lewis (Tim); his grandsons, Josef and Joel Hershman; his brother Randy Hershman (Jenny); his niece Andrea Moore; and his great-nephew Blake Moore. He is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren; 17 step-great grandchildren; three step-great great grandchildren.
