Gary Cochran Obituary

Gary Lee Cochran Jr., age 62 a resident of Philippi, WV departed this life on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on October 4, 1961, in Providence, Rhode Island, a son of Gary Lee Cochran Sr. of Buckhannon and the late Donna Mae (McCollam) Cochran.

Left behind to cherish his memory are one son, Jamie Cochran, one grandson, Blake Cochran; two sisters, Lori (Cochran) Wagner and Traci (Cochran) Lucente; one brother; Thomas "Shane" Cochran; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

Gary spent many years working in the coal mines and was very skilled at construction/ carpentry. He enjoyed spending time doing anything outdoors. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
