He was predeceased by: his parents, Davy L. Woody and Lourene Bennett Woody; his wife Wilma Jean Woody; and his siblings, Hartsel Woody and Betty Marti.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Woody (Shirley) of French Creek, Kenneth Woody (Marie) of Buckhannon and Gary Woody (Suzanne) of Buckhannon; and his siblings, Hazel (Dennis Helmick) of Beckley and Roger Woody (Judy) of French Creek. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
