He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam O. Girard and Minnie Endrizzi Girard; and his siblings, Louise Girard, Adeline Pastine, Esther Silvester, Charles and Joseph "Joe" Girard.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Gibson Girard; his son Trent Girard; and his sister Mary Margaret Gallagher.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home (95 S Kanawha St, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (35 Franklin St, Buckhannon, WV 26201).
