He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Alexander Bennett and Ethel Mae Rice Bennett; and his siblings, Brenice Levera Bennett and Emery Junior Bennett. He is survived by: his siblings, Ray Austin Bennett (Ilene) and Rose Ella McCartney; his children, Christine "Chrissy" Bennett (Shawn Pugh), Brenda Bennett Depoy (Walter), Kevin Bennett, Lonnie Bennett (Lisa) of San Antonio, TX and Nichole "Nikkie" Bennett Bryant (Rick Shreve); and his pet Rusty Allen Bennett. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clutter Funeral and Cremation (21 Elnora Circle, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Clutter Funeral Home Chapel (21 Elnora Circle, Buckhannon, WV 26201).
