She was predeceased by: her parents, Vinson Sturgille and Billie Joyce Justice Sturgille; her husband Everett Edgle Castle; and her grandchildren, Lucas and Dakota Castle.
She is survived by: her sons, Everett Edgle Castle, Jr. (Kathy) of Stanton, VA and Shane Curtis Castle (Asia) of Summerset, VA; her grandchildren, Christopher, Karissa, Brandon, Taylor, Everett III, Makayla, Gabriella and Harper Castle; her siblings, Bathsheba Black and George Butler; and her nephews, Ricky Black, Josh Black and Rhett Butler. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
