It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy May Bennett of Buckhannon, West Virginia, born in Wolf Summit, West Virginia, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Anderson and Ivy Myrtle Keller Anderson; her husband James Atwell Bennett; her children, Doris Marie Williams, Ralph Eugene Bennett and William Edward Bennett; her granddaughter Danielle Hope Bolyard; and her siblings, Leslie Anderson, Robert Anderson, Richard Anderson, Guy Howard Anderson, Marie Thompson, Rosalee Moore and Josephine Long. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
