It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jane Given Kafer of Buckhannon, West Virginia, born in Richwood, West Virginia, who passed away on October 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, D. P. "Sheriff" Given and Hazel Arthur Given. She is survived by: her husband John Kafer of Buckhannon; her children, Chris Avis (Rebecca) of Elkview and Andrea Hamrick of Webster Springs; her grandsons, Ian Avis of Morgantown, Trevor Avis of Morgantown and Samuel Hamrick of Webster Springs; her aunt Pat Cochran of Guardian; and her cousin Kathy Prinze of Las Vegas, NV.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Donna's memory to West Virginia Hospice Promise Foundation 21 E Main St. Suite 301, Buckhannon, WV 26201.
