We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2025, at the age of 77, Donald Lee Simons of Buckhannon, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Simons and Eldora Marie Tenney Simons; his wife Mary Linda Buchanan Simons; and his brothers, Michael Gerald and Khevan Walter Simons.
He is survived by: his son Donald Scott Simons of Buckhannon; his brother Neil Elwood Simons of Clarksburg, WV; his nephews, Michael David Simons of Clarksburg and Jason Michael Simons (Melissa) of Phillipi, WV; his niece Sherry Goodwin of Lost Creek, WV; his great-nephews, Michael David Simons, Jr. of Clarksburg, Corbin and Bryson Simons; his friends, Raymond, Beth Baugh, Mary Ann, David Goode, Bill Stone, Danny Exline, Jim Browning, Kerry, Connie Crosby and Diane Tenney; his pet Lacy; and also Chad Michael Simons.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home (95 S Kanawha St, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
