He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Dale and Hilton Virginia Westfall Dean; his brothers, Charles Dean and Harold Dean; and his grandson Travis Stimeling.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Shipman Dean; his children, Melissa Stimeling (Charlie), Ronald Dean (Carol) and Wayne Dean (Sheryl); his grandchildren, Clay Stimeling (Tiffany), Heather Wilkins and Cody Dean (DeAnna); and his sister Margaret Ann Miller. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home (95 S Kanawha St, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boystown or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Mr. Dean's memory.
